Incheon Airport to Seongsu: How to Get There (Subway Route)

Seongsu Has 3 Stations — Pick the Right One

The neighborhood is a wide grid of former warehouses, and getting off at the wrong station means a 15–20 minute walk with your luggage. Rough rule of thumb (double-check your exact stop in Naver Map before you leave the airport):

⚠️ Suitcase + Café Crawl Don't Mix

Seongsu's cafés are small and most have nowhere to park a carry-on. If you're heading there before hotel check-in, use a coin/card locker inside the station (most Seoul subway stations have them near the exits — tap with T-money or card). Drop the bag, then wander free.

Door to door, budget about 100 minutes from Terminal 1 — Seoul is big, and Seongsu sits on its east side.

Skip the orange Express gates — the Express costs ₩13,000, skips your transfer station, and saves you nothing on this route.

Transfer at Hongik University to Line 2 (green)

Follow the green Line 2 signs, direction City Hall (시청) — the inner circle. Line 2 is a loop, so you can't really go "wrong," just long. This way is the short way.
